It’s fun! There’s even a chapter exploring how the first episodes of each season are similar to first therapy sessions. There are a lot of the same terms you’d hear in a classroom, but just surrounded by Dungeons and Dragons references. This book is great for helping break down psychology topics in a fun way. Some of the topics covered include: bullying, toxic masculinity, and the impacts of a missing person. They each tackle a topic using examples from Stranger Things. This book is basically a collection of short psychology papers from researchers, professors, and therapists. ![]() So when he asked if I wanted to check out his newest book, Stranger Things Psychology: Life Upside Down, it was a no brainer. Langley twice for news stories and loved every nerdy minute of it. Along with fellow pop culture psychologist Travis Langley, Lynn also edited Supernatural Psychology: Roads Less Traveled. He was on a psychology of cult TV shows panel with an author who worked on a book with cast members of Supernatural, so obviously I had to check it out.
